The Global Peace Index is produced on the basis of 24 indicators analyzed by the think-tank Economist Intelligence Unit. Its data covers 98 per cent of the world's population

According to the latest rankings of the Global Peace Index (GPI), from the list of 140 countries in the world, the below listed countries were chosen as the top 10 most peaceful countries in the world.
